A Love Like That

A Love Like That Cover Picture
Hi,
     I'm so glad you stopped by for a visit. Reading has been a passion of mine since I was very young. I think it runs in the family. Dad reads at least three books a week and my grandfather read every book in the Riceville Public Library at least once.
     My mother gave me some papers recently which were written in grade school, so apparently I began writing at a very young age. But I didn't start writing professionally until 1985 and only part-time, hoping someday I would become a full-fledged writer.
     That day has finally come! My first novel, A Love Like That, made its debut June 18, 2007. You can purchase an autographed copy directly through me. It is also available through the publisher, Publish America or at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Borders and, believe it or not, on eBay. I hope you enjoy my novel. Feel free to email or write to me and let me know what you think. May the Lord bless and keep you in His care.

About the Book

What is a woman who is pushing the ripe old age of seventy doing falling in love again? That's the question Mary Kain is asking herself. Since she met the handsome once-famous singer, Mary has felt more young and alive than she has for years. Romantic dinners for two, dancing, walks in the woods; it all seems too good to be true. Could her daughter be right in telling her that the magnetic Curt McRight is only after her money?

Curt has spent his whole life involved in music; first, as a singer and musician with his own band, and now by investing his life savings in the risky venture of a dinner and dance club. As if that isn't trouble enough, now he is involved with a woman whose daughter claims she is not capable of making her own decisions.

Dance like nobody's watching;
love like you've never been hurt.
Sing like nobody's listening;
live like it's heaven on earth.
